Attorney Olcay Yılmaz graduated from Ankara Adalet Vocational High School in 1997. In 1998, he started working at the Ministry of Justice and subsequently worked at the Istanbul Justice Palace until 2003. In 2003, he graduated from Istanbul University Law Faculty and in that same year, he started his Legal Internship at our Law Firm and has been a part of it since. Attorney Olcay Yılmaz primarily works in the fields of transportation law, intellectual property law and labor law and in addition provides written and verbal legal consultancy services to companies. He also works as a mediator and speaks English.

• Dispute resolution related to delays, damages or missing items in the context of commodities transported either by local or international freight via road, railway, sea, or airway, resolution of disputes between the insurer and the insured in regards to legal liabilities for transporting loads by international forwarders as specified in the conditions and limits on insurance policies and for determining whether the insurer has gained right for the premiums and other related collections,
• Carrying out penal and legal solutions for protecting the intellectual property rights of companies and individuals, dealing with the processing of penal cases relating with decisions of the TPTO, cases related to the invalidity of brands, negative declaratory regarding the infringement of trademark rights, evidence determination, ceasing the infringement of trademark rights via cautionary judgment, indemnifying the infringement, cases dealing with pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages and seizing the products that are the subject of violation at the customs and other places, carrying out penal cases relating with violation of brand rights, dealing with complaints of prosecution, obtaining search warrants and confiscation of imitation commodities, dealing with cases relating with the protection and cancellation of business names, protecting mainly the rights of authors of creations arising from the law on intellectual and artistic works by litigation of indemnifying and prevention of infringement,
• Litigation of action for performances in the framework of labor law like severance and notice pay, compensation for bad faith damages and unpaid wages, action for fixing of period of service, cases dealing with pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages, opening and following up penal cases relating with violations of noncompetition
In addition, Attorney Olcay Yılmaz provides legal consultancy to clients by answering their queries in written and verbal form, reviewing contracts and preparing them in line with requests, preparing and reviewing contracts between the employers and employees, and if requested attending meetings and providing legal support for protecting the rights of the clients.
